About File Converter
File Converter is an independent web utility created and maintained by Andras Feher. It converts supported documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images, Markdown, and text files directly in the browser.
The project exists to make everyday format changes understandable as well as convenient. It does not promise pixel-perfect conversion between formats that represent content differently. Instead, the interface and guides explain what can be preserved, what can change, and when specialist software is a better choice.
How The Converter Is Operated
OneInAll is operated by Andras Feher, who develops the converter, reviews its public guidance, investigates reported failures, and maintains the site policies. Questions, corrections, and reproducible conversion problems can be sent to andras.feher429@gmail.com.
How Features And Guidance Are Tested
Changes are tested with text-based and scanned PDFs, ordinary DOCX documents, spreadsheets, presentations, JPG and PNG images, Markdown, and plain text. Checks include file validation, page order, extracted text, image proportions, output naming, multi-file ZIP downloads, and mobile layouts. Important output should still be compared with its source because browser libraries cannot reproduce every desktop application feature.
The file conversion guides are written from those observed behaviors and are reviewed when the converter changes. Corrections are made when testing or reader feedback shows that an explanation is incomplete.
Privacy By Design
Supported conversions are designed to run on your device using browser technology. Selected files are not intentionally uploaded to a remote conversion service. Advertising and basic technical services can still process information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Conversion Quality
File formats represent content in different ways. PDF uses fixed pages, Word uses flowing document content, spreadsheets use cells, and images use pixels. The converter is most useful for simple documents and quick exports; complex layouts, scanned text, macros, forms, and advanced formatting may require specialized software.
Editorial Principles
Guidance is written to help a reader complete a task, not to promise impossible accuracy or manufacture search traffic. The site distinguishes text extraction from OCR, editable content from visual preservation, and local file processing from ordinary website network activity. Advertising does not determine technical recommendations or known-limit disclosures.
